Meat Masala – 90g



Meat masala is a spice mix used in Keralan cuisine, typically as a marinade for various types of meat, especially mutton. Meat masala can either be rubbed onto pieces of meat as a dry powder mix, or combined with oil to make a paste that more easily coats the meat.


Chilli, Coriander, Turmeric, Cumin, Onion, Ginger, Garlic, Cardamom, Cloves, Cinnamon, Bay Leaf, Star Anis, Mace, Dried Mango Powder, Nigella, Asafetida and other condiments. Other Spices And Condiments.


Method of Cooking

1. In a cooker fry 2-3 onions till brown in 4-5 spoons of oil, add two tsp of ginger-garlic paste.

2. Add meat to the onions and stir for 5 minutes, add 2-3 cut tomatoes and ½ cup water

3. Add 4-5 tsp of SIBU Meat Masala and salt to taste, give 2 whistles in medium flame.

4. Open and add half cup of yogurt and heat for 15 minutes.

5. Garnish with coriander leaves and slices of ginger. Serve Hot.
